Most people focus on their siding or driveway when thinking about curb appeal. But the soffit and fascia - that trim running along the roofline - is one of the first things people actually notice. When it gets grimy and discolored, it pulls the whole look of the house down fast.

This Lancaster Park home had that exact problem. The soffit had picked up a layer of dirt and mildew over time, the kind that builds up slowly until one day you step back and wonder how it got that bad. It's common on homes with heavy tree cover, and this one had plenty of it.

We came in with a full house wash and gave the roofline area the attention it needed. Getting the soffit and fascia truly clean takes the right approach - too much pressure and you risk damage, too little and the mildew just comes right back. We know where that line is, and we stay on the right side of it every time.

The difference is hard to miss. The white trim reads the way it should - bright and clean - and the whole front of the house just looks more put-together because of it. That's what a good exterior wash does. It doesn't just clean, it restores the look the house was always supposed to have.

If your roofline or exterior has started looking dull or streaked, that's usually mildew talking. It doesn't go away on its own, and it spreads. Getting ahead of it is always easier than letting it sit.
