Brick is one of those materials that looks incredible when it's clean - but Florida's humidity does a number on it fast. Algae, moss, and years of dark buildup can make even solid, well-built brick look neglected. That's exactly what we were dealing with here in Lake Mary.
The wall had a heavy coat of green algae and dark organic staining covering nearly every brick and mortar line. That kind of buildup doesn't just look bad - it holds moisture against the surface and keeps getting worse over time if you leave it alone.
We took our time on this one. Brick requires the right pressure, the right detergents, and a methodical approach. Too aggressive and you damage the mortar. Too light and you're just moving the mess around. We treat every surface based on what it actually needs, not a one-size-fits-all method.
The end result speaks for itself. The natural warm tones of the brick came back completely. Clean mortar lines, no green, no staining. It looks the way it was supposed to look.
If you've got brick, concrete, or other exterior surfaces that have gone dark and grimy, this is the kind of work we do every day. Walls, driveways, patios - we've got it covered.
